Nigiris
Digital Illustration: Nora Toth
Visual description
A playful, brightly colored digital illustration of two nigiri sushi pieces reimagined as small characters. In the foreground, a salmon nigiri with pink and orange marbled flesh has sprouted a stubby cream-colored arm and leg, with the foot wearing a red traditional Japanese sandal. Behind it, a second nigiri, topped with a striped orange and pink fillet and wrapped in a black nori belt, reaches up with cream-colored hands to hold the fillet in place. Both lay on an olive-green serving tray alongside a pair of chopsticks and a small black bowl of dipping sauce, against a pink wood-grain tabletop. The palette is bold and flat, with grainy, textured shading throughout.
What's New Mary Maka spread
Illustration: Mary Maka, Layout design: Affinity in-house creative team
Visual description
A double-page magazine spread from an editorial feature titled "What's New." The left-hand page features a bold typographic design with the artist's name spelled out in large letters. The "M" and "R" in black are positioned down the left edge, "A" and "Y" in black down the right, and "MAKA" across the center in salmon pink. Two short italicized pull-quotes sit above and below the central lettering:
“While many illustrators lean on digital trends, Mary Maka draws from myth, folklore, and the natural world.”, “Her personal work – forests, goddesses, and flora-fused figures – leaves a lasting impression.”
The right-hand page features a colorful illustration of a stylized cat's head merging into a green, dark-spotted snake-like body shaped into a large letter "U," set against a bold coral-red background. Running headers ("Showcase" and "What's New") and page numbers appear at the top of each page.
ZOLO brand identity
Brand identity: James Martin (Made By James)
Visual description
A wordmark logo for "ZOLO," a handcrafted furniture brand, set in bold, geometric sans-serif capital letters in cream against a dark charcoal background. The letters, "Z, O, L, O", sit above a thick horizontal cream bar divided by a small gap in the center. From the center, two curved arches extend downward and outward, forming an abstract table-like shape.
Tend to Your Garden
Digital illustration: Isabela Humphrey
Visual description
An abstract digital illustration in a textured, pastel style, rendered in warm mauve, mustard-yellow, and olive tones. A woman with long dark purple-black hair and gold hoop earrings sits reclining in the foreground, wearing an oversized mustard-yellow top outlined with loose red textured lines, and dark olive-green trousers. Floating in front of her left shoulder is a faint green outline drawing of a flower, overlaid on a soft red, head-like silhouette. To the right, a purple-colored hand reaches into a patch of tall yellow grass. In the lower left corner, a cluster of pale pink flowers with red squiggled centers grows with a small orange, purple, and yellow, butterfly resting among the stems. The overall effect is dreamlike and layered, mixing a grounded figure with looser, sketch-like symbolic elements.
Walking
Digital illustration: Jan Buchczik
Visual description
A bold, flat-colored illustration of a person walking through a forest at dusk, surrounded by seven dogs in bright, unnatural colors. The figure, mid-stride and looking ahead, wears a brown beanie and a red-and-maroon checkered pajama-style outfit with brown boots. They are accompanied by a large teal dog, a small orange dog, two green dogs, a striped orange dog, a pale blue-and-white dog, and a small snail, all moving in the same direction. The background shows dense purple tree canopies, dark trunks, a bright orange sun, and a navy sky with light pink clouds.
Stretch
Digital illustration: Linn Fritz
Visual description
A symmetrical black line illustration on a pale yellow-green background, showing a person stretching downwards. The angle creates the appearance of looking directly up at them. Their two legs extend downward and outward from a central point above the viewer, each leg ending in an elongated shoe at the front of the frame. The hands rest around the front of the shoes, fingers curled loosely around the toes with thumbs extended upward. Bold black shapes cover the tops and soles of the shoes, and a small black shape at the center of the composition suggests the character is wearing a pair of shorts.
Energy
Digital Lettering: Kris Andrew Small
Visual description
A colorful typographic illustration spelling "ENERGY" in tightly framed capital letters that fill the entire composition. Each letter is rendered in a different flat, saturated color: navy blue, red, yellow, sky blue, pink, and olive green, with cut-out details in contrasting colors, such as an olive-green notch inside the "E" and a mustard-brown curve inside the "R." Only a small amount of background color is visible around the edges, creating a dense, abstract pattern of closely arranged shapes and color blocks rather than a conventionally spaced word.
Toothbrush & Raspberry
Photography: Shelley Horan
Visual description
A close-up photograph of a single raspberry balanced on top of a toothbrush head, shot against a deep red background. The raspberry sits on its side, its textured surface catching soft highlights, with a few pale stem hairs visible at its base. Below it, the toothbrush bristles are white at the front edge and teal blue behind, fanning slightly outward, with the blue plastic handle extending down and out of frame. The high-contrast lighting and shallow depth of field give the image a bold, graphic quality.
The Future Is in the Air
Photography and digital lettering: Lebassis
Visual description
A bold mixed-media digital piece combining photography with custom, bold, chunky lettering on a black background. In the center, a tightly framed photograph shows a man laughing with his eyes scrunched closed, wearing a mustard-yellow beanie and top, set within a white, tilted square frame. Large purple letters reading "The Future Is in the Air" wrap around and overlap the photograph. The word "The" appears in smaller lettering at the top left, while the rest of the phrase is positioned across the top, left, and bottom of the composition. Loose red scribbled lines and zigzag marks surround the text and photograph, alongside a small photograph of a basketball on the left-hand side, adding a sense of energy and motion throughout.
SOLO bottle label design
Product label design: Hey Studio
Visual description
Three dark, glossy bottles arranged closely together against a black background, photographed at a low angle with a shallow depth of field so only parts of the labels are in sharp focus. Each bottle features bold, oversized lettering spelling "SOLO" in a different color gradient: one label transitions from yellow to green to orange, another from pink to red, and another from blue to tan. The bottles have simple black caps and glass necks, with soft reflective highlights along their curved surfaces. The overall tone is dark and premium, with the colorful type standing out sharply against the low-lit composition.
Future Days
Graphic Design: Hey Studio
Visual description
A graphic design piece featuring the words "Future Days" in bold black serif type against an abstract backdrop of vivid blue and golden yellow, blended together with soft gradients of turquoise and green. The blue occupies the upper half of the composition, while the yellow rises from the bottom in a series of irregular peaks. The title sits across the center of the image, with the dark lettering standing out sharply against the bright background. The blurred transitions between colors create a glowing effect.
What's New Paloma Rincon spread
Photography: Paloma Rincon, Layout design: Affinity in-house creative team
Visual description
A double-page magazine spread from an editorial feature titled "What's New," set against a sage-green background. Large, bold black type spells the artist's name, with "PALOMA" running horizontally across the top left and "RINCON" vertically down the right edge. At the center is a photograph of an elaborate floral still life: a large piece of gnarled tree bark serves as the base for an abundant arrangement of brightly colored flowers in pink, yellow, magenta, orange, and white, with delicate stems and leaves extending upward and outward. A pull-quote appears in the top right-hand corner, while a column of body text sits in the lower left-hand corner. Running headers ("Showcase" and "What's New") and page numbers appear at the top of each page.
Portrait of Balla Touré
Photography: Obidigbo Nzeribe (Model: Balla Touré)
Visual description
A fashion photograph of a man sitting in a field of dry golden grass under a clear blue sky. He wears a large, textured fur coat in warm tan and brown tones, white socks, and brown loafers, with one bare leg tucked in and the other extended forward across the grass. He faces the camera with a calm expression, his eyes half closed and his chin resting against the collar of the coat. The low, warm lighting and wide, open landscape give the image a cinematic, editorial quality.
WorkOut Meals brand identity
Brand identity: Design by Twist
Visual description
A dynamic brand identity featuring a low-angle photograph of a person captured mid-jump against a clear blue sky. The figure wears a white sleeveless top, black shorts, black socks, and black trainers, with one knee raised and one leg extended, creating a strong sense of movement.
A large yellow-green logo stretches across the center of the image, partially overlaying the figure. Its thick, rounded letterforms create a flowing zigzag shape that contrasts with the crisp blue background.
