In the Spotlight: real work, made in Affinity
Across disciplines, our community is producing seriously impressive work in Affinity, and Spotlight is proof of that.
From editorial illustration and branding to photography and digital art, this is what Affinity looks like in the wild, used by people who care deeply about craft. Not as a backup or a side tool, but as a core part of real workflows delivering client-ready work.
What is Spotlight?
Spotlight is a curated space dedicated to professional creatives using Affinity day-to-day. It’s not a gallery of examples or idealized use cases. It’s proof of how Affinity holds up in real workflows, shaped by how creatives think, solve problems, and refine their practice.
Each profile pairs finished work with a short Q&A. You see the polished outcome, but more importantly, how it came to be. The decisions, the approach, the process behind the work. The final piece matters, but the thinking behind it is where it gets interesting.
Real creatives, real workflows
A question we hear all the time: “Can Affinity handle professional work?” This is your answer.
The creatives featured in Spotlight rely on Affinity to deliver for clients, develop ideas, and push their craft forward. Instead of moving between fragmented tools, they build workflows that carry a project from concept through to final output, all in one place.
For illustrators, that means sketching, inking, texturing, and composing without leaving the file. For photographers, it’s compositing, color grading, and refining without breaking flow. For designers, it’s moving between vector, raster, and layout work without interruption. That continuity matters. And it shows in the work.
Why Spotlight exists
Affinity has always been built for creatives, by creatives. Spotlight is where that becomes visible.
By putting real artists and their work at the center, Spotlight turns visibility into something more valuable: credibility. For the creatives, it’s exposure, recognition, and opportunity. For us, it’s something stronger than marketing. It’s proof that Affinity belongs in real creative workflows.
