Creating slick brand designs using Affinity’s Vector Studio

Affinity’s vector tools give you precision without the pain — the way design should be.

In this lesson, we’ll break down Affinity’s core vector tools through a series of short design activities using artwork from Canadian branding maestro Luc Sauve. You’ll learn how to build bold, scalable graphics and refine them into studio-grade designs.

Lesson objectives

By the end of the lesson, you’ll be able to:

  • use shape tools and Boolean operations to combine and refine forms
  • apply the Contour Tool to create sticker-like effects
  • draw a refined wordmark using the Pen Tool
  • confidently use Affinity’s vector tools for your own artwork
